All our cases are made by hand and each letter is handpicked and traditionally embossed using gold foil. We have a wide range of finishes available, from high quality book cloth to leather, and there are options that can be added for a more luxurious finish, such as gold headbands, marbled end papers, ribbon markers and extra embossing.

Tips

Hubert Bookbindery work with a lot of students and colleges and aim to offer as much advice from their decades of experience. There is a lot to think about when it comes formatting a document for printing. Document editors such as Word, Open Office and Google Docs can have default settings so here are a few tips for setting up a project that we have learnt along the way.

Check your page size once you open the application
Decide if its going to be a single sided or double sided document. If the document is going to be double sided, use mirrored margins or have the margins centred. Same set up applies to page numbers.

Please bear in mind that most heading styles have colour and when printing this can be expensive so a BOLD greyscale heading would be as effective as a blue heading
